Amarillo Coffee & Lounge is a chic, cheerful new café that is ready to be your chosen meeting point for business or pleasure. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, it tantalizes your palate with homemade dishes and desserts made daily by a talented Chef.
Business or Pleasure
Amarillo bears a stylish design that includes an indoor lounge area filled with elegant Chesterfield sofas, indoor plants, and artistic décor, as well as an appealing wooden-decked outdoor dining space.
This spot is ideal for business lunches but is just as perfect for a meal or even a quick coffee with family and friends. The list of gourmet teas and coffees (some of which can be purchased) is impressive and there are also special treats on the menu like the ultra-creamy matcha latté.
Any coffee item on the menu can be made with a wide choice of nut milks, which are sold at the same price as dairy items.
Fresh is Best
Amarillo has a host of treats to tempt you but the good news is, most of its fare is of the healthy variety. Start your day off with hummus and avocado toast, drizzled with paprika and cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, power up with an antioxidant rich fruit or acai smoothie bowl, or sip on one of many smoothies containing a plethora of vitamins and minerals.
You can additionally take your pick from fresh juice combos and frappes.
Turning Up the Midday Heat
At around midday the temperature rises in the kitchen and diners have a choice of wraps (including free-range chicken and avocado, falafel, and Thai tofu), bagels (how does one filled with shredded chicken, bacon and cheddar cheese sound?), and steaming hot paninis, focaccias, and sandwiches.
Ready for Lunch?
If comfort food is your idea of a great meal, then you will find various dishes that will hit the spot at Amarillo. The list of starters includes creamy soups of the day; guacamole with pico de gallo, nachos, and fresh cilantro; quesadillas; eggs benedict; sweet potato sticks and more. Health buffs take note: the café has a salad buffet, so you can whip up the perfect combination of vegetables, proteins, and sauces. There are also classic salads on offer featuring superfood ingredients like quinoa, bulgur, sprouts, and more.
From Monday to Friday, there are special lunch menus from 1pm to 4pm, featuring salads and/or wraps.
